Place

Dancing in the wind,
Enjoying this blissful sin,
with the sun kissing my face,
I don't ever want to leave this place.

I no longer have to pretend,
a place I belong in,
with not a single worry to waste,
I don't ever have to leave this place.

Monster in My Room

The night casts shadows
creating safe havens for monsters,
as I say my prayers before bed.

I shut my closet door
and check under the bed
as I drag my feet across the floor.

My parents kiss me goodnight,
before they close my bedroom door
out of sight,
I look around my room once more.

There in the corner
I see a monster lurking,
as I seek refuge under the cover.

My heart races,
I couldn't make out the faces
so I let out a yell.

My parents came a running,
as my fear was consuming,
until the lights came on.

That's when I saw
that my monster was really
a basketball.

Night

The stars twinkle,
your blankets wrinkle,
as you dream the night away.
The crickets play
to a silent ballet,
of the morning sun.

Technology Hates Me

Technology hates me,
I can never get it to work.
Everytime I press a button,
the computer goes bizerk!
It always happens to no one
but me,
and no matter how hard I try,
i get a blue screen
and my computer says goodbye!
Even my ipod
gives me such a spill,
everytime I touch the button on the stupid wheel.
It will freeze
and will get me to yell "GEEZE!"
My phone
has a mind of its own,
it turns off and on
whenever it feels like,
and I never get a dial tone.
So I throw my phone.
Technology never works 
when I need it to.
It does whatever it wants!
And someday it will rule the world...
